abstract: This study aims to discuss how to implement individual counseling to
resolve bullying issues at SMP Negeri 2 Tambak, Banyumas. Bullying in schools
continues to be a concern because its negative impact can disrupt students'
psychological development and learning process. Individual counseling is an
effective approach for guidance counselors to address bullying issues, as it involves
face-to-face interactions between the counselor and the client, enabling issues to
be resolved optimally. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research
method, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and
documentation. The research subjects included guidance counselors and students
involved as perpetrators and victims of bullying. The results of the study indicate
that the implementation of individual counseling at SMP Negeri 2 Tambak is
carried out in accordance with procedures and is relevant to the needs of the
counselee. Individual counseling has proven to be effective in addressing bullying
issues, reducing psychological impacts, supporting student development, and
creating a conducive learning environment.
