"This study explores the contribution of LAZNAS Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia\r\n(IZI) Yogyakarta in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development\r\nGoals (SDGs). The SDGs are a global agenda comprising 17 development goals,\r\nemphasizing the collaboration of various sectors—including philanthropic\r\norganizations—in addressing social, economic, and environmental issues. This\r\nresearch uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach on IZI\r\nYogyakarta. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and\r\ndocumentation involving IZI representatives and program beneficiaries.\r\nThe findings indicate that IZI Yogyakarta has significantly contributed to\r\nseveral SDGs indicators, particularly in poverty alleviation, education\r\nenhancement, as well as economic and health empowerment. Flagship programs\r\nsuch as the Patient Shelter House, Smartfarm Academy, and tahfidz scholarships\r\ndemonstrate these contributions.\r\nThe strategies employed include community-based empowerment\r\napproaches, collaboration with local partners, and productive management of\r\nZISWAF funds. However, challenges remain in systematically measuring SDG\r\ncontributions and the lack of structured documentation. The study recommends\r\nimproving program evaluation and documentation based on SDG indicators to\r\nensure that the contributions of Islamic philanthropy are both measurable and\r\nimpactful."^^ .
