This study examines the effect of employee engagement on green behavior, with green employee involvement as a mediator and transformational leadership as a moderator, based on the Ability?Motivation?Opportunity (AMO) theory. Through a quantitative survey of employees at Bank Muamalat and BPD DIY Syariah Yogyakarta, data were analyzed using PLS?SEM in SmartPLS. Results show that employee engagement positively influences both green behavior and green involvement, though mediation was not significant. Transformational leadership weakened the engagement?involvement relationship.
