abstract: This study aims to explain and analyze the effect of Return On Asset, Debt to asset ratio, Current Ratio, Working Capital Tunrover, institutional ownership, company size, and company age on the company's financial distress level. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total of 16 companies as samples in accordance with predetermined criteria. The data analysis method in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model selected. The analysis results show a positive and significant effect of Debt to asset ratio, Working Capital Turnover, institutional ownership, and company size on the company's financial distress level. While Return On Asset and Current Ratio have a negatif effect on the level of corporate financial distress. In addition, it was found that the age of the company has no significant effect on the level of financial distress of the company.
