The importance of social interaction lies in its role as a fundamental foundation for the development of children's social skills, which will be valuable in the future. The purpose of this study is to describe the experiences of working single mothers in shaping their children's social interaction skills. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with three informants selected based on criteria of being working mothers and single parents. Data collection methods include semi-structured interviews, observations, and data triangulation to ensure data validity. The results of this study show that despite facing time constraints and the burden of dual roles, working single mothers continue to strive to foster their children's social interactions through: 1) enrolling their children in extracurricular activities; 2) taking their children to public places; 3) setting boundaries for their children; and 4) providing opportunities for their children to explore. This study emphasizes the important role of mothers, especially in single-parent conditions, as role models in shaping their children's personalities and social skills, as well as highlights cooperation with the surrounding environment as a strategy in fostering children's social interactions.
