This study aims to investigate the role of friendship quality and self-disclosure on the subjective well-being of boarding school students at MAN (State Senior High School). The research method employed is a quantitative correlational approach. The subjects of this study were boarding school students at MAN (State Senior High School). The study involved two schools, namely MAN 1 Sleman and MAN 3 Sleman, with a sample size of 159 students selected using probability sampling with a simple random sampling category. The data collection instruments used in this study were the Brief Adolescent Subjective Well-Being in School Scale (BASWBSS) for the variable of students' subjective well-being at school, the Friendship Qualities Scale (FQS) for the variable of friendship quality, and a self-disclosure scale developed by the researcher. The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that friendship quality and self-disclosure simultaneously have a positive and significant relationship with students' subjective well-being at school (Sig. <0.001) with an effective contribution (SE) of 22.4%. Friendship quality partially has a positive and significant relationship with students' subjective well-being at school (Sig. <0.001 or <0.05). Self-disclosure does not have a significant relationship with students' subjective well-being at school (Sig. 0.750 or >0.05). The results of this study will have implications for improving students' subjective well-being at boarding schools through programs aimed at enhancing the quality of friendship and self-disclosure. %Z Fitriana Widyastuti, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psi.
