This situation presents unique challenges in parenting patterns and efforts to enhance cognitive development in early childhood, especially for children aged 4-6 years. Dual-career parents refer to couples who both work, either to meet economic needs or as a form of self-actualization. This study aims to provide an in-depth description of how dual-career parents cooperate to develop cognitive aspects of their children despite limited time availability. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand and reveal in depth the phenomena and strategies used by dual-career parents in developing the cognitive abilities of children aged 4-6 years in Karang Sanggrahan. Data collection techniques included in-depth structured interviews, observation, and documentacion, with the research subjects being two pairs of dual-career parents living in Karang Sanggrahan who have children aged 4-6 years. The research finding indicate that parental cooperation in the form of effective communication, appropriate time management, accompanying children, and completing household tasks together can help optimize parenting, resulting in good cognitive development in children. Supporting factors for success in developing children?s cognitive skills include family support, the surrounding environment, effective communication between partners, and the provision of appropriate parenting styles, such as authoritative or democratic parenting. These supporting factors help minimize existing problems or obstacles. The two families studied did not show any significant challenges in balancing work and parenting responsibilities. The strategies used were not specifically designed but were based on a commitment to mutual support and encouragement between partners as an effort to develop children?s cognitive abilities.
