One way to facilitate meaningful science learning is by integrating learning with local potential around students. The local potential of Madura salt was chosen as the learning context because it has relevance to students' daily lives and strong local cultural values. The module was developed to facilitate critical thinking skills through learning activities and questions that emphasize critical thinking indicators. This study aims to: (1) Determine the quality of the integrated science module of the local potential of Madura salt according to material experts, media experts, and science teachers, (2) Determine students' responses to the integrated science module of the local potential of Madura salt, (3) Determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills after using the integrated science module of the local potential of Madura salt. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a modified four-D (4D) development model that is limited to the development stage, namely extensive trials. This study used 30 students as research subjects in limited trials and 26 students in extensive trials of class VII at one of the SMPNs in Sampang District. The instruments used in this study were instrument validation sheets, critical thinking test instrument validation sheets, product validation sheets, product assessment sheets, student response sheets, and critical thinking ability test sheets (pretest-posttest). Instrument validation in the form of criticism, suggestions, and conclusions from instrument experts to produce a valid instrument. Validation of critical thinking test instruments using Aiken's v with five intervals. Product validation also uses Aiken's v with three intervals. Module assessments were analyzed using a Likert scale with five intervals. Student responses used the Guttman scale with two scales. Meanwhile, to determine the increase in critical thinking skills using N-Gain based on the results of the student's pretest-posttest. This study produced an integrated science module of the local potential of Madura salt on the material of substances and their changes that can improve critical thinking skills. The results of the product quality assessment were 4.7 (material expert), 4.9 (media expert), and 4.8 (science teacher) with a very good category. The student response questionnaire got an average score of 0.97 with the agree category (S). while the average gain was 0.42 which showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills in the moderate category.
