This reflects a positive development in gender equality within the academic world. However, for women, this rise in public leadership does not necessarily reduce their domestic responsibilities. Conflicts in fulfilling dual roles remain a significant concern. This study aims to understand the urgency of women's leadership, to identify the motivations and inspirations of female Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs in their leadership journeys, and to explore the dynamics of dual roles and the negotiation strategies employed to balance them. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the lived experiences of five female informants who serve as Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs within the faculty. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and data verification. The validity of the data was ensured through credibility testing using member checks and reflective journals, as well as checks for transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The research findings indicate: First, there are varying views on the urgency of women’s leadership, yet a consensus exists that female leadership plays a significant role in educational institutions, particularly due to the distinct leadership styles and approaches of women compared to men. Second, the motivation to become a leader arises from both internal and external factors. Sources of inspiration come from close figures and successful women; these inspirations are dynamic but share common threads, namely individuals with aligned academic interests and strong dedication in their fields. Third, in facing the dynamics of dual roles, various strategies are employed, including strict time management, allocating personal time, and establishing social support systems both at home and in the workplace. Negotiation strategies used in conflict situations involve ensuring that all parties feel heard in every decision, in order to create harmony between domestic and public demands. date: 2025-06-04 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/71732/1/21104090036_BAB-I_IV-atau-V_DAFTAR-PUSTAKA.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/71732/2/21104090036_BAB-II_sampai_SEBELUM-BAB-TERAKHIR.pdf identifier: Fitria Maharani, NIM.: 21104090036 (2025) BERNEGOSIASI DENGAN PERAN GANDA (STRATEGI KAPRODI DAN SEKPRODI PEREMPUAN DI FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA PERIODE 2024-2028).
