However, in practice, transportation problems often involve uncertainties in parameters such as cost, supply, and demand. To address these uncertainties, a fuzzy approach is applied. A fuzzy transportation problem is one in which all parameters are represented by fuzzy numbers. This research aims to solve transportation problems with uncertain parameters using an efficient computational approach, followed by an optimization test using the MODI (Modified Distribution) Method. All data or parameters in the transportation problem are represented by trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, and all calculations adhere to the rules of arithmetic operations for trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. An efficient computational approach is used to determine an initial feasible solution, which is then tested for optimality using the MODI Method.
