The methods used include neutron tomography to obtain 3D images of oil dynamics in Berea sandstone. The results show that neutron tomography can observe oil dynamics phenomena non-destructively, although the standards for quantitative analysis still need further development. The use of saline water and surfactants, particularly with the addition of D₂O, affects oil dynamics. In core flooding, the distribution tends to concentrate in the main pore channels of the rock, while in imbibition, the spread reaches more thoroughly into smaller pores. Image visualization with VGStudio Max 3.0 shows oil distribution patterns consistent with the experimental data from core flooding and imbibition, and the segmented oil volume corresponds to the remaining oil values obtained from experiments.
