Catalytic pyrolysis offers an effective solution for converting plastic waste into liquid fuel, but it requires an efficient catalyst. Magnetite nanoparticles (Fe{$_3$}O{$_4$}) synthesized using Polyalthia longifolia leaf litter extract show potential as an eco-friendly catalyst. This study aims to characterize Fe{$_3$}O{$_4$} nanoparticles using Polyalthia longifolia leaf litter extract, evaluate their effect on the pyrolysis of LDPE waste in terms of oil yield and quality, and analyze the chemical composition of the resulting oil. Fe{$_3$}O{$_4$}-SDG nanoparticles were synthesized via co-precipitation and characterized using FTIR and XRD. LDPE pyrolysis was conducted with varying catalyst masses (0?2.5 g), followed by analysis of oil quality (density, viscosity, calorific value, flash point, and water content) and chemical composition using GC-MS. FTIR analysis revealed Fe?O bonds at 428.15?553.10 cm{$^-$}?, while XRD confirmed a crystalline structure with an average size of 3.74 nm. The catalyst increased oil yield up to 73\% (2.5 g), with a density of 0.85706 g/mL, viscosity of 2.98 cSt, and calorific value of 45.79 MJ/kg, approaching diesel standards. However, the flash point (46?C) was low, and water content (4.97\%) was high. GC-MS analysis detected a dominant phenolic compound content (41.25\%). The Fe{$_3$}O{$_4$} using Polyalthia longifolia leaf litter extract catalyst effectively enhanced pyrolysis oil yield and quality but requires further purification to reduce water and phenolic content. Fractionation distillation, optimized storage, and diesel engine performance testing are recommended.} }
