Evaluating the factors that influence the adoption of this service is essential to ensure its effectiveness, identify potential shortcomings, and reduce adoption barriers. This study integrates the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to examine six key variables in Eduroam adoption: trust, attitude toward using, performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, behavioral intention, and actual use behavior. Data were collected through a survey of 293 academic community members at UIN Sunan Kalijaga and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that trust, attitude toward using, performance expectancy, and facilitating conditions significantly influence both the intention to use and actual use of Eduroam, with trust emerging as the most dominant factor. Among eleven moderation hypotheses involving gender, age, experience, and voluntariness of use, only one was supported. The results show that gender significantly moderates the relationship between effort expectancy and behavioral intention, with a negative coefficient, suggesting that this relationship is weaker in one gender category than the other. The remaining ten moderation hypotheses showed no significant effects. These findings contribute to the development of strategies aimed at increasing Eduroam adoption by considering the most influential factors and provide valuable insights for higher education institutions in designing more inclusive and effective technology implementation policies.} }
