This study aims to analyze the legal protection provided to customers after the revocation of business licenses, focusing on efforts to strengthen financial literacy and dispute resolution mechanisms to protect consumer rights. The research method used is normative legal research, with a statutory approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. Data was collected through literature study and interviews with competent sources, including advocates and former customers of PT Kresna Life. The results show that despite regulations governing the obligation of insurance companies to settle customer rights after the revocation of business licenses, legal protection of customers still faces various challenges. These challenges include a lack of information transparency, ineffective communication between companies and customers, and a slow claim settlement process. This study recommends the need for clearer and faster policies to ensure the protection of customer rights, as well as an increase in public financial literacy so that customers can better understand their rights. In addition, strengthening a more efficient and transparent dispute resolution mechanism is also needed to provide legal certainty for consumers in the insurance sector, especially after the revocation of business licenses by OJK.
