Clear and easily understood ballot design becomes an important factor in ensuring high voter participation and reducing errors in voting. The Constitutional Court Decision Number 126/PUU-XXII/2024 affirms that ballot design must accommodate all layers of society, including persons with disabilities and voters with low education levels. From a legal perspective, this decision is based on constitutional principles that emphasize the political rights of every citizen. In the context of Maslahah Mursalah, this decision aims to ensure public welfare in election administration by improving accessibility and affordability of ballots for all voters. This research aims to analyze Constitutional Court Decision Number 126/PUU Year 2024 regarding ballot design from the perspective of Maslahah Mursalah. The method used in this research is normative juridical with a conceptual approach and statutory approach. Through this method, the research examines how ballot design changes can improve the quality of democracy by ensuring more inclusive and transparent voting rights. Additionally, this research also examines the principles of Maslahah Mursalah in relation to electoral policies aimed at providing broad benefits to society. The research results show that the Constitutional Court decision to postpone the implementation of the plebiscite model in regional head elections until the 2029 Simultaneous Regional Elections reflects the principles of sociological law and progressive law. This decision considers aspects of administrative readiness and legal stability in the electoral process. From the perspective of maslahah mursalah, changing the electoral system with a plebiscite model aims to enhance democratic legitimacy by ensuring that every voice of society truly reflects the will of the people. Thus, this decision aligns with the principle of welfare that aims to maintain political stability and improve the quality of democracy in Indonesia.} }
