In the Constitutional Court Decision Number 1/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024, it was stated that President Jokowi has committed significant violations of electoral neutrality. This violation is manifested in the form of President Jokowi's active involvement in the 2024 presidential campaign, which is allegedly aimed at supporting his eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka. This involvement reflects a breach of the ethical code that should be upheld by a head of state. The situation is exacerbated by the weak law enforcement carried out by electoral oversight agencies, which have failed to effectively perform their functions of supervision, investigation, and coordination among agencies. Consequently, President Jokowi has opened the door to political dynasty practices, which undoubtedly contradict the democratic principles upheld by Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative method with a legislative approach, case approach, and conceptual approach to explore the complexities of the issue. Utilizing Ibn Khaldun's theory of 'asabiyyah and Franz Magnis Suseno's political ethics theory, data is collected through literature review, including academic literature, legal documents, and news reports. The results of this study indicate that President Jokowi's involvement in the 2024 presidential campaign constitutes a serious violation of the political ethics that should be upheld by a national leader. This research recommends the need for substantial changes or revisions and strict enforcement of Law Number 7 of 2017 on General Elections, particularly Article 299, to ensure integrity and justice in the electoral process. The concept of 'asabiyyah becomes highly relevant to understanding the dynamics of President Jokowi's involvement in the 2024 presidential campaign, where group solidarity and loyalty to family can create nepotism. This also emphasizes the importance of the stance that a head of state must take to avoid falling into unjust actions that could undermine the foundations of democracy and public trust in the political system.} }
