%T NILAI-NILAI PATRIOTISME DALAM FILM (ANALISIS ISI KUALITATIF PADA FILM KADET 1947)
%X The wave of globalization and the growing influence of foreign cultures have contributed to the erosion of patriotic values in society, particularly among the younger generation. In this context, film as a form of mass communication holds significant potential for effectively conveying nationalistic messages. The film Kadet 1947 was selected as the object of study because it represents the struggle of Indonesian Air Force cadets in defending the nation’s independence after the proclamation.
This research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis as the method. The theoretical framework refers to Rudolf F. Holsti’s approach, focusing on recording units such as scenes, dialogues, characters, and plotlines that contain patriotic values.
The findings reveal that Kadet 1947 presents five core values of patriotism: (1) courage, (2) willingness to sacrifice, (3) perseverance, (4) social solidarity, and (5) self-confidence. These values are visualized through the actions of the characters in confronting conflict, undertaking high-risk missions, and fostering solidarity among fellow cadets.
