N2  - Music has now become a medium capable of attracting interest and motivating individuals to visit specific locations, thereby contributing to new tourist attractions. This phenomenon is commonly referred to as music tourism. This research aims to analyze the event management of the Prambanan Jazz Festival 2024 in enhancing the potential of music tourism in Yogyakarta. This study employs a qualitative research method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. These methods were used to obtain in-depth information regarding the event management practices applied during the Prambanan Jazz Festival 2024 organizations and its potential to strengthen music tourism in Yogyakarta. The findings of this research indicate that the implementation of the Prambanan Jazz Festival 2024 has significantly contributed to the advancement of the music tourism sector in Yogyakarta. The potential for development of music tourism in the region can be further enhanced through the organization of more music events held in iconic locations such as the Prambanan Temple and other cultural heritage sites. Yogyakarta can continue expanding its music tourism potential by organizing music events that combine natural beauty with local wisdom, and introducing more diverse performances such as festivals, concerts, and cultural art shows. This potential affirms that the Prambanan Jazz Festival 2024 not only promotes tourism through music and supports the preservation and promotion of local culture.
