In this context, physical appearance, especially facial skin conditions, plays an important role in shaping self-image and self-confidence, especially for women. Acne, as a common skin problem experienced by Generation Z women, not only has a physical impact, but also affects the individual's psychological condition, such as self-confidence, comfort in social interactions, and self-acceptance. The purpose of this study was to explore the picture of self-confidence in Generation Z women with acne problems. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. This study used a purposive sampling method to determine its informants. The criteria for informants in this study were informants with moderate to severe acne problems as evidenced by medical records, female, experiencing acne symptoms, and were Generation Z (Born 1997-2010). The results of this study indicate that the three informants experienced developments in self-confidence characterized by self-confidence and ability, optimism, objectivity, responsibility, and rationality. Although the picture of self-confidence varies depending on the background of experience, perspective and coping strategies.
