N2  - The rapid development of information technology in the digital era demands
educational institutions, including Madrasah Diniyah, to adapt accordingly. At
Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Imdad Bantul, improving teacher performance is
a primary focus in supporting the learning process. However, high administrative
workloads often become a barrier to achieving work efficiency and effectiveness.
Therefore, innovation through the use of information technology is needed, one of
which is through the implementation of a Management Information System (MIS),
locally referred to as ?sisfo.?
This study aims to analyze the role and impact of implementing a
management information system on teacher performance at Madrasah Diniyah
Takmiliyah Al-Imdad. It is also expected to contribute to the development of
scientific knowledge and serve as a reference for other educational institutions,
particularly non-formal madrasahs, in utilizing technology to support teacher
performance. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data
collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation.
Informants were selected using purposive sampling based on their knowledge,
understanding, and involvement in the implementation of sisfo. Data were analyzed
through transcription, coding, grouping, comparing, contrasting, and interpreting,
and the validity of the data was ensured through source triangulation.
The results indicate that sisfo has had a positive impact on teacher work
efficiency, particularly in managing attendance, scheduling, and learning reports.
Although it does not yet cover all aspects of planning and evaluation, sisfo has
proven to ease administrative processes and communication between the madrasah
and parents. Furthermore, it supports the availability of EMIS data. Nevertheless,
challenges such as human resource readiness and system feature limitations remain
and need to be addressed to optimize system utilization in the future.
