For this reason, many educational institutions in Indonesia have implemented boarding schoolbased education, one of which is SahabatQu Senior High School, Yogyakarta. Objective The purpose of this study was to analyze the pattern, the implementation, and the implications of religious character development and student discipline through a boarding school program at SahabatQu Senior High School, This type of research uses field research with a phenomenological approach. Researchers are directly involved in the field to explore phenomena experienced by the object of study, such as behavior, perception, and action. Data collection was conducted through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results: This study shows that (1) the pattern of religious character development and discipline of students through the boarding school program at SahabatQu Senior High School includes exemplary, habituation, advice, appreciation, and punishment patterns. (2) The implementation of religious character development and discipline of students through the boarding school program at SahabatQu Senior High School includes the implementation of religious programs, such as the five daily prayers in congregation, qiyamullail and dhuha prayers, tahsin and tahfidz Al-Qur'an, and fasting on Mondays and Thursdays. This was followed by discipline programs such as Ossaqu (SahabatQu Student Organization), scout extracurricular activities, and basic leadership training. (3) The implications of religious character development and discipline of students through the boarding school program at SahabatQu Senior High School include religious attitudes and disciplined attitudes, such as the formation of piety in students, the formation of noble morals, honesty, politeness, and caring for others, and the formation of disciplined attitudes towards time, discipline in worship, and learning. %Z Sibawaihi, S.Ag., M.Si, Ph.D.
