To address these problems, a game-based learning model called "ABC 5 Dasar" was developed. The objectives of this research are: (1) to develop a gamebased learning model "ABC 5 Dasar"; (2) to determine the feasibility of the product; and (3) to examine the effectiveness of the product through trial implementation. The development model employed was ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate), integrating an enjoyable and interactive game-based learning approach. The product was validated by experts and tested through a field trial conducted at SD Negeri Kowangbinangun. Data collection was carried out using oral tests (pre-test and post-test) and observation during the application of the game, with effectiveness measured using the normalized gain (n-gain) method. The results of the study show that: (1) the developed product is a teacher’s guidebook for implementing the ABC 5 Dasar game-based learning model, which has gone through validation and field testing stages; (2) Expert validation yielded an average score of 92.5, while teacher evaluations provided a score of 95, indicating that the product is highly feasible for use in classroom instruction; (3) Product effectiveness was demonstrated by an n-gain score of 0.902, which falls under the high-effectiveness category, meaning the model significantly improved students' vocabulary mastery. Statistical testing using a paired sample t-test resulted in a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test results following the implementation of the model. Additionally, effect size calculations categorized the result as very large, confirming that the ABC 5 Dasar game-based learning model has a substantial impact on vocabulary improvement. Student responses to the learning activities were highly positive and enthusiastic, as shown by their active involvement and their desire to continue playing beyond the scheduled learning time.
