"Mathematics is a fundamental subject that plays a role in developing\r\nstudents' logical, critical, and systematic thinking skills, and is relevant to\r\neveryday life. However, many students experience difficulty understanding basic\r\nmathematical concepts, particularly in addition and subtraction operations\r\ninvolving negative numbers. This difficulty often arises because the learning\r\napproach used does not fully consider the diversity of learning styles and\r\ndifferences in student ability levels. This study aims to describe the design\r\nprocess, feasibility, and trial results of developing interactive learning media\r\nbased on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) using Articulate Storyline to\r\nimprove students' understanding of mathematics concepts in grade six elementary\r\nschool/Islamic elementary school students.\r\nThis development research adapted the 4D development model, which\r\nconsists of four steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The product was\r\ntested for feasibility by material and media experts. The field trial design was\r\nconducted with a control class and an experimental class. The subjects of this\r\nstudy were all sixth-grade students of MIN Bantaeng, South Sulawesi. Data\r\ncollection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data\r\nanalysis techniques used were validity using content validity, pretest and posttest\r\ninstrument validity testing using Aiken's V, normality testing, homogeneity testing,\r\nand independent sample t-test using IBM SPSS, and analysis of learning outcome\r\nimprovement using the N-Gain formula.\r\nThe results of the study showed that: (1) The development of an interactive\r\nUDL-based learning media product was successful. The product was developed\r\nusing the Articulate Storyline application with the assistance of Canva Pro and\r\nthe 2 APK Builder website; (2) The feasibility test, based on validation from\r\nmaterial experts, yielded a 90% rating of \"feasible,\" from media experts, a\r\n94.29% rating of \"very feasible,\" and from teacher responses, a 88.80% rating of\r\n\"feasible.\" Student responses reached 100%, indicating the media's suitability for\r\nuse. Furthermore, the pretest and posttest instruments were also declared valid,\r\nmaking them suitable for measuring the media's effectiveness; (3) The results of\r\nthe independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.035 < 0.05,\r\nindicating a significant difference between classes that used interactive media and\r\nthose that did not. Meanwhile, the N-Gain test was 0.48, equivalent to 48%, which\r\nis included in the fairly effective category. This indicates that interactive learning\r\nmedia based on UDL with the help of articulate storylines has proven effective in\r\nimproving students' understanding of mathematical concepts."^^ .
