At Sobo Kebon Agro, fruit fly infestations result in the rotting of perennial fruit crops, thereby reducing both the quality and quantity of the harvest. However, information on the diversity of fruit fly species in the area remains unknown. This study aimed to identify the diversity and abundance of fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) infesting various fruit plants at Sobo Kebon Agro. The research utilized yellow sticky traps and methyl eugenol traps, which were placed on each fruit-bearing plant. The results revealed four fruit fly species found in the crystal guava, water guava, and sapodilla plots: Bactrocera umbrosa, B. carambolae, B. papayae, and B. dorsalis. Additionally, two species B. occipitalis and B. fuscitibia were found exclusively in the water guava plot. The diversity indices of fruit flies were 1,11 for crystal guava, 1,34 for water guava, and 0,98 for sapodilla. The abundance of fruit flies was recorded as 1.233 individuals in crystal guava, 1.007 individuals in water guava, and 625 individuals in sapodilla. In total, six species of fruit flies were identified, with two being exclusive to the water guava plot. The fruit fly diversity index was categorized as low in sapodilla and moderate in both guava and water guava. The fruit fly species with the highest abundance value was Bactrocera carambolae (0.54), with a total of 1,557 individuals.
