abstract: Technological advancements in modern software development environments have driven the use of code templates and snippets to improve development efficiency. Visual Studio Code (VSCode) as one of the most popular IDEs provides built-in snippet features, but has limitations in terms of template management and sharing across projects. Additionally, with the advancement of AI technology and Large Language Models (LLM), there is an opportunity to integrate automatic code generation capabilities into the template management process. This final project aims to design and build a VSCode extension that can manage code templates dynamically with AI integration. This extension is implemented with flexible template management features, integration with AI providers such as Groq, Google AI Studio, Openai, and Ollama, as well as the ability to share templates across projects. The implementation results show that the extension successfully simplifies the template management process, increases developer productivity, and facilitates team collaboration in software development.
