The study started with creating a floor plan and size of the radiology examination room and measuring the thickness of the existing concrete walls/lead lining on site. The calculation of the compliance of the thickness of the concrete walls/lead lining based on NCRP No.49 consists of calculations for primary shielding and calculations for secondary shielding, where secondary shielding includes scattered radiation and leakage radiation.
