"KOPRI is an alternative space for women to organize and voice\r\ntheir ideas, but patriarchal practices and unequal access to leadership\r\noften trigger the emergence of forms of social resistance. This\r\nresistance reflects women's efforts to maintain autonomy, build\r\nbargaining positions, and reformulate their roles within the\r\norganization. This study aims to examine women's social resistance in\r\nKOPRI of the Special Region of Yogyakarta to understand the\r\ndynamics of power, collective strategies, and factors underlying their\r\nstruggle towards a more just and inclusive space in the Islamic student\r\nmovement.\r\nThis study uses a qualitative approach with field methods to\r\nexplore in depth the social dynamics and forms of women's resistance\r\nin the KOPRI organization. Primary data were obtained through\r\ninterviews, observations, and documentation, while secondary data\r\ncame from literature related to women's organizations and resistance\r\nmovements. Data analysis uses the Everyday Forms of Resistance\r\nTheory from James C. Scott to understand the subtle resistance\r\nstrategies carried out by women in everyday life. The results of the\r\nanalysis are presented descriptively-analystically to describe the forms\r\nand backgrounds of women's social resistance in a patriarchal\r\norganizational structure.\r\nThis study found several important findings that reveal the\r\ndynamics of power and resistance within the KOPRI organization.\r\nFirst, there are factors that cause the emergence of forms of resistance\r\nsuch as inequality in the experiences of female cadres so that they can\r\ntrigger forms of resistance in everyday life. This resistance is in the\r\nform of silence, withdrawal, humor, intellectualism and even the\r\nabsence of women. Second, this study identifies the meaning of\r\nresistance for female KOPRI cadres. The meaning of resistance is\r\nquite complex, but this study will reveal the meaning of resistance as\r\nan effort to maintain autonomy and critical power, capital for cultural\r\nchange in the organization, and efforts to reconstruct gender positions.\r\nThe resistance carried out by female KOPRI cadres is not frontal or\r\nopen, but rather comes in small, covert, informal forms, and takes\r\nplace in daily practices."^^ .
