The utilization of medicinal plants remains a well-preserved tradition among the local community. A portion of the ethnobotanical knowledge is inherited from the migrants' places of origin, while another portion is acquired from the traditional knowledge of the indigenous Papuan communities. However, documentation of this knowledge remains limited, thereby necessitating systematic research. This study aims to document and analyze the diversity of medicinal plant species, the plant parts utilized, methods of preparation and administration, modes of acquisition, therapeutic uses, use values, and fidelity levels. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with 65 respondents, using open-ended questionnaires designed to align with the research objectives. Respondents were selected using the snowball sampling technique. Data were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The findings revealed a total of 73 medicinal plant species belonging to 39 families. The family Zingiberaceae represented the highest usage frequency (11%). Herbaceous plants constituted the most common growth form (37%). The most frequently used plant part was the leaf (38%), and the predominant method of preparation was decoction (64%). The most common route of administration was oral consumption (69%). The majority of plants were sourced from home gardens (66%). The most frequently cited therapeutic use was to enhance immune function (16%). Species with the highest use value (0.09) were soursop (Annona muricata L.), kelapa (Cocos nucifera L.), coconut (Cocos nucifera L.), and moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.) . Plants with the highest Fidelity Level (100%) included turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa), areca nut (Areca catechu L.), and betel (Piper betle L.). To ensure the sustainability of medicinal plant resources, the community of Udapi Hilir Village engages in various conservation practices, including the cultivation of species amenable to domestication, preservation of natural habitats, and implementation of regulated harvesting schedules for species that are difficult to cultivate. %K Etnobotani, Obat Tradisional, Papua Barat, Tumbuhan Obat, Udapi Hilir, Zingiberaceae. %D 2025 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib72332
