In this research, a web-based system was developed to assist users in selecting smartphones that suit their preferences. The system employs the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method, which ranks alternatives based on their closeness to the ideal positive and negative solutions. The system was built using PHP with the Laravel framework and uses SQLite as the database. The criteria used in the calculation include: price, RAM, storage, camera, screen size, and battery capacity. Users can assign weights to each criterion based on their preferences. The system then displays ranked recommendations based on preference scores calculated using the TOPSIS method. System testing results show that all functional requirements are met (100%) and the usability score reached (92.6%) based on beta testing with 6 respondents. This indicates that the system is reliable and provides relevant and accurate recommendations.
