"Parangtritis Village, Kretek Sub-district, Bantul Regency, Special Region of\r\nYogyakarta is one of the coastal areas on the island of Java, especially the Special\r\nRegion of Yogyakarta, which is still thick with the tradition of sea alms or what is often\r\nreferred to as Bekti Pertiwi Pisungsung Jaladri by the community. The tradition is held\r\nevery May to July, precisely on Tuesday Wage, this tradition is a form of expression of\r\ngratitude and a request to always be given safety.\r\nThis study aims to describe the values of Islamic acculturation and Javanese culture\r\ncontained in a series of Bekti Pertiwi Pisungsung Jaladri tradition processions that live\r\nin the Parangtritis village community. This research is a qualitative study with\r\ndescriptive data types. In writing this research, data collection was carried out using the\r\nfield research method, interviews using interview guidelines, observation and\r\ndocumentation. Data sources were taken from informants who were involved and\r\nunderstood the background of the Bekti Pertiwi Pisungsung Jaladri tradition, namely the\r\ncommunity, community leaders and books that support the research. While the data\r\nanalysis method uses the Anthropology method and Acculturation theory.\r\nThe findings of this study include, throughout the history of the emergence of the Bekti\r\nPertiwi Pisungsung Jaladri tradition in Parangtritis Village, it has a very important role\r\nin the lives of local people until now and is still well implemented. The Bekti Pertiwi\r\nPisungsung Jaladri tradition procession includes a series of activities carried out once a\r\nyear, namely around May to July on Tuesday Wage. A series of Bekti Pertiwi\r\nPisungsung Jaladri processions are also considered to be able to bring common good to\r\nfishing communities or coastal communities as an expression of gratitude to God\r\nAlmighty for the sustenance that has been given, human hope for a safe life in the\r\nworld, and changes in people's perspectives on Bekti Pertiwi Pisungsung Jaladri\r\ntowards more realistic and functional thinking. Referring to the discussion, it can be\r\nconcluded that Bekti Pertiwi Pisungsung Jaladri is a local wisdom that describes the life\r\nof the Parangtritis Village community.
