Regional student organizations serve as a platform that helps migrant students cope with these challenges while also strengthening bonds among fellow members from the same hometown or cultural background. This study aims to explore how the sense of community is experienced by migrant students who are actively involved in regional student organizations. A qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was used to understand their subjective experiences. Data were collected through interviews and observations with four migrant students who had been active in regional student organizations for 2 to 4 years. The number of participants was considered adequate as data saturation had been reached. The findings show that all participants experienced a strong sense of community, which was reflected in the aspects of membership, influence, shared emotional connection, and integration and fulfillment of needs. Shared regional background, language, and local cultural values contributed to a greater sense of belonging, solidarity, and comfort within the organization. These organizations also functioned as social spaces that supported adaptation, self-development, and student well-being during their time away from home. Overall, active involvement in regional student organizations not only strengthened social ties but also played a key role in building identity and providing a sense of security for migrant students.
