"The background of this study is that in the implementation of the\r\nMadrasah Research program there are still problems, namely in research\r\nlearning in grade ten has not met the set targets so that researchers are\r\ninterested in conducting a comprehensive evaluation study of the Madrasah\r\nResearch program. This research aims to find out how the implementation\r\nof the Madrasah Research program. How to evaluate the Madrasah\r\nResearch program using the CIPP model as well as opportunities and\r\nchallenges for the Madrasah Research program.\r\nThis study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection\r\ntechniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation\r\nstudies. The research subjects were selected based on three criteria\r\n(knowing, understanding, and directly experiencing the problem being\r\nstudied), that is the Madrasah Principal, the Vice Principal for Curriculum,\r\nthe Research Coordinator, the Scientific Research Papers supervisor, and\r\nthe students. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model,\r\nwhich includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing\r\nconclusions. Data validity techniques involve source triangulation and\r\ntechnique triangulation.\r\nThe research results indicate that: (1) The Madrasah Research\r\nprogram at MAN 3 Bantul is implemented in the form of intraschool\r\nresearch activities, the development of Scientific Research Papers, and\r\nextracurricular research activities. (2) The CIPP evaluation results show:\r\na) The context evaluation indicates the program implementation is in\r\naccordance with the Director General of Religious Education's Decision\r\nNo. 6757 of 2020 and Decision No. 6989 of 2019, relevant to the curriculum,\r\nand needed by the madrasah; b) Input evaluation shows the madrasah has\r\ndetermined appropriate plans and strategies, supported by adequate human\r\nresources and infrastructure; c) Process evaluation shows the obstacle is\r\nthat some students have difficulty completing research proposals in tenth\r\ngrade. and the budget is not fully sufficient to participate in various\r\nresearch competitions; d) Product evaluation shows an increase in students'\r\nunderstanding and skills as well as improved performance in the field of research. (3) The opportunities available to MAN 3 Bantul in implementing\r\nthe program include technological development, a supportive environment,\r\nand positive community response. The challenges lie in economic aspects\r\nand existing policies. The implications of this research are that the\r\nMadrasah Research program has successfully improved students' scientific\r\nthinking abilities and increased madrasah performance, so all madrasahs\r\nneed to implement the Madrasah Research program and conduct\r\nevaluations to assess the program's effectiveness"^^ .
