%T EVALUASI MODEL CIPP PROGRAM MADRASAH RISET DI MAN 3 BANTUL
%X The background of this study is that in the implementation of the
Madrasah Research program there are still problems, namely in research
learning in grade ten has not met the set targets so that researchers are
interested in conducting a comprehensive evaluation study of the Madrasah
Research program. This research aims to find out how the implementation
of the Madrasah Research program. How to evaluate the Madrasah
Research program using the CIPP model as well as opportunities and
challenges for the Madrasah Research program.
This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection
techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation
studies. The research subjects were selected based on three criteria
(knowing, understanding, and directly experiencing the problem being
studied), that is the Madrasah Principal, the Vice Principal for Curriculum,
the Research Coordinator, the Scientific Research Papers supervisor, and
the students. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model,
which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing
conclusions. Data validity techniques involve source triangulation and
technique triangulation.
The research results indicate that: (1) The Madrasah Research
program at MAN 3 Bantul is implemented in the form of intraschool
research activities, the development of Scientific Research Papers, and
extracurricular research activities. (2) The CIPP evaluation results show:
a) The context evaluation indicates the program implementation is in
accordance with the Director General of Religious Education's Decision
No. 6757 of 2020 and Decision No. 6989 of 2019, relevant to the curriculum,
and needed by the madrasah; b) Input evaluation shows the madrasah has
determined appropriate plans and strategies, supported by adequate human
resources and infrastructure; c) Process evaluation shows the obstacle is
that some students have difficulty completing research proposals in tenth
grade. and the budget is not fully sufficient to participate in various
research competitions; d) Product evaluation shows an increase in students'
understanding and skills as well as improved performance in the field of research. (3) The opportunities available to MAN 3 Bantul in implementing
the program include technological development, a supportive environment,
and positive community response. The challenges lie in economic aspects
and existing policies. The implications of this research are that the
Madrasah Research program has successfully improved students' scientific
thinking abilities and increased madrasah performance, so all madrasahs
need to implement the Madrasah Research program and conduct
evaluations to assess the program's effectiveness
