Pd. abstract: This study is motivated by the phenomenon of dating behavior among students, particularly Muslim students in school environments. Such behavior is commonly practiced during adolescence, a critical stage of identity formation. Without proper guidance, it may negatively affect students’ psychological well-being, learning process, morality, and character. SMPIT Al-Ghazali Jember has provided an alternative solution to this issue through an Islamic psychotherapy approach, namely the Dhikr Al-Ma’tsurat Therapy. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in order to obtain in-depth information and describe it in a narrative form. The subjects of this study were students of SMPIT Al-Ghazali Jember who had engaged in dating behavior and subsequently participated in the Dhikr Al-Ma’tsurat Therapy, as well as the school’s Guidance and Counseling teacher who implemented the therapy. The aim of this research is to examine the implementation of the Dhikr Al-Ma’tsurat Therapy for students at SMPIT Al-Ghazali Jember. The findings indicate that the therapy serves as a form of character-building by employing a spiritual approach as an alternative to disciplinary suspension for students who commit serious violations, including dating. The implementation of the Dhikr Al-Ma’tsurat Therapy at SMPIT Al-Ghazali Jember is carried out in three stages: the Preparation Stage (Taqdim/Taqrir), the Implementation of Dhikr (Tadzkirah ‘Amaliyyah), and the Evaluation and Further Guidance Stage.
