Adolescents in orphanages face more complex adaptation challenges due to the absence of parental figures and the application of non-family parenting patterns. This study aims to analyze the relationship between caregivers? parenting styles and adolescents? self-adjustment at Muhammadiyah Orphanage for Orphans in Surakarta. This research employed a quantitative correlational method with a saturated sampling technique involving 35 adolescents aged 13?18 years. The instruments used were a parenting scale based on Baumrind?s theory and a self-adjustment scale based on Hurlock?s theory. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results revealed a positive and significant relationship between caregivers? parenting styles and adolescents? self-adjustment (r = 0.960; p = 0.001). This finding confirms that the better the quality of caregivers? parenting, the higher the social and emotional adjustment ability of adolescents in orphanages.
