As an influential local media outlet in Surakarta, Tribun Solo plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion on sensitive issues related to religion and freedom of worship. Using a framing analysis approach and Pamela Shoemaker's media policy theory, this study evaluates how Tribun Solo frames news related to the forced closure of a house of worship in Banyuanyar, Solo. The findings reveal that Tribun Solo emphasizes legal and licensing aspects over social perspectives and the right to religious freedom. The news coverage tends to prioritize the voices of the government and residents opposing the house of worship, while the affected congregation's perspective is underrepresented. These findings indicate a bias in media reporting that may influence public perceptions of blasphemy cases in Indonesia. Thus, this study highlights the importance of balance and objectivity in journalism practices to ensure diverse perspectives in reporting religious issues.} }
