Khoerul Anwar, S.Pd.,M.Pd.,Ph.D %T IMPLEMENTASI BIMBINGAN PRANIKAH PADA KECEMASAN MENIKAH GEN Z AKIBAT PAPARAN MEDIA SOSIAL DENGAN SELF CONTROL SEBAGAI MEDIASI %X Various types of information related to marriage, such as divorce, infidelity, and domestic violence found on social media have a psychological impact on Gen Z. They develop a negative view of marriage in the future, which leads to a decline in marriage rates. This study aims to design premarital counseling interventions tailored to the characteristics of Gen Z and analyze the influence of social media exposure with self-control as a mediating variable on Gen Z's anxiety about marriage. The method used is qualitative to design premarital counseling interventions and quantitative correlational with 211 Gen Z individuals in Mataram to test the influence of social media exposure with self-control as a mediating variable on Gen Z's anxiety about marriage. Qualitative data collection was conducted through FGDs, while quantitative data was collected using four measurement scales: the social media exposure scale, the anxiety about marriage scale, and the self-control scale. Data analysis was conducted using PROCESS V4.2 by Andrew F. Hayes through the SPSS 25 application. Qualitative research results indicate that there is a need for materials on digital literacy, family relationship management, sex education, and the roles of husbands and wives. Quantitative research results state that social media exposure directly influences marriage anxiety with a a beta coefficient of 0.315 and p<0,05. Additionally, self-control was found to mediate the relationship between social media exposure and marriage anxiety with a beta coefficient of 0.132 and p<0,05.
