GCG is proxied by two mechanisms: independent commissioners and public ownership structure. This research is motivated by the inconsistency of previous findings and the importance of credible signals for investors in the capital market, particularly in sharia-compliant companies. The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data from 13 companies consistently listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) 30 from 2021 to 2024, resulting in 52 observations. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with EViews 10 software to test the hypotheses. The analysis results show that: (1) Tax avoidance (measured by the Effective Tax Rate/ETR) has a positive and significant effect on firm value (proxied by Price to Book Value/PBV). This finding supports signaling theory, where the market perceives legal tax avoidance practices as an efficiency effort to increase cash flow and profit. (2) Independent commissioners proved to have no significant effect on firm value, indicating the ineffectiveness of their supervisory role, suspected to be merely a formality. (3) Public ownership has a positive and significant effect on firm value, consistent with agency theory where dispersed ownership encourages transparency and reduces information asymmetry. The key finding of this research is the role of dividend policy as a moderator. Dividend policy significantly strengthens the relationship of all three independent variables (X1, X2, X3) with firm value. quota %K Nilai Perusahaan, Tax Avoidance, Good Corporate Governance, Kebijakan Dividen, Jakarta Islamic Index %D 2025 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib72492
