abstract: Economic growth is one of the key indicators for measuring the level of development and welfare of a region. This study aims to analyze the influence of industrial agglomeration, labor, investment, and minimum wage on economic growth in Indonesia. These four variables were selected due to their strategic roles in driving regional economic activity, yet they have rarely been examined comprehensively within a single empirical model.
This research adopts a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis, combining cross-sectional data from provinces and time-series data over the period of 2019–2023. The data were collected from 34 provinces in Indonesia, primarily sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and other relevant institutions.
The results show that the independent variables, industrial agglomeration, labor, investment, and minimum wage, have a positive and significant effect on provincial economic growth. These findings highlight the importance of economic policies that support agglomeration development, labor quality improvement, investment facilitation, and rational minimum wage policies. Therefore, efforts by the government to strengthen these factors are expected to promote sustainable economic growth.
