This profitability can fluctuate due to the influence of several factors, such as the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Operating Expenses to Operating Income, and Earning Asset Quality (KAP). This study aims to determine the effect of CAR, FDR, BOPO, and KAP on Return on Assets (ROA) of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Malaysia, both partially and simultaneously. This study used the population of Islamic Commercial Banks in Malaysia for the period 2017-2024. A saturated sampling technique was used, resulting in a sample size of 56 data points. The data were processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression using Stata 17 and Microsoft Excel as a supporting application. The results of this study indicate that the CAR variable has a significant positive effect on the ROA of Islamic Commercial Banks. The BOPO variable has an insignificant negative effect on the ROA variable. Meanwhile, the FDR and KAP variables do not significantly influence the ROA of Islamic Commercial Banks. However, simultaneously, the CAR, FDR, BOPO, and KAP variables significantly influence the ROA of Islamic Commercial Banks in Malaysia. %Z Dr. Jeihan Ali Azhar, S.Si., M.E.I.
