"The significant rise in social media users in Indonesia, reaching 191 million by\r\n2024, has fueled the pervasive phenomenon of cyberbullying. UNICEF data\r\nreveals that 45% of Indonesian adolescents (aged 14-24) have experienced online\r\nbullying, predominantly through chat applications and the unauthorized\r\ndissemination of content. Cyberbullying is defined as repeated electronic\r\naggression intended to harm or threaten. This study aims to identify the forms of\r\ncyberbullying on the Twitter (X) platform, specifically targeting Manchester\r\nUnited fans via the @idextratime account, and Analyzing the aspect of emotion\r\nregulation in fans. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, this research\r\nillustrates cyberbullying incidents, drawing on Price & Dalgleish's (2010)\r\ncyberbullying theory. The findings identified 133 tweets containing cyberbullying\r\nelements related to the emotion regulation of Manchester United fans. The most\r\ndominant forms were \"opinion slammed\" (109 tweets), followed by \"image of\r\nvictim spread\" (87 tweets), and \"called name\" (20 tweets). Cyberbullying activity\r\nfrom the @idextratime account significantly increased during Manchester United\r\nmatches (86 tweets) compared to non-match days (47 tweets), indicating game\r\nmoments as key triggers. The majority of Manchester United fans struggled with\r\nemotion management, evidenced by 96 negative reply tweets, while only 37 replies\r\ndemonstrated controlled emotional responses.
