Respect is a fundamental aspect in building a healthy and conducive academic relationship that reflects moral and spiritual values in higher education, particularly within Islamic universities. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with 29 participants, consisting of six students engaged through in-depth interviews, FGD, and documentation, and 23 students through open-ended questionnaires. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews, FGD, documentation, and online surveys, and analyzed using Miles & Huberman?s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that students? respect is reflected in three main aspects. The cognitive aspect emphasizes students? recognition of lecturers as knowledgeable figures and moral role models. The affective aspect appears in feelings of admiration, gratitude, and emotional attachment toward lecturers. The behavioral aspect is manifested through polite language, active listening, academic compliance, and the application of the 5S culture (Salam, Smile, Greeting, Courtesy, and Politeness). This study concludes that students? respect is not merely a matter of formal courtesy, but an integration of universal and religious values that supports a harmonious and blessed academic relationship.
