"The meaning of life is a process experienced by individuals to\r\nbe able to interpret the process of life with the aim of selfdevelopment\r\nand actualization. In the crisis of the meaning of\r\nlife in this modern era, however, there are conditions where an\r\nindividual desires to be useful, valuable to the surrounding\r\nenvironment, this is in line with a SAR volunteer who voluntarily\r\nhelps, spends his time, energy, ideas and skills to help others in\r\ndisaster management efforts knowing that he will not receive a\r\nsalary or wage for what he does. This study aims to find out the\r\npicture of the meaning of life of SAR (Search And Rescue)\r\nvolunteers in Klaten Regency. In addition, this study is also\r\nexpected to be able to have an impact on readers about the\r\nmeaning of life and be useful for further research. This study uses\r\na qualitative method of phenomenological study with interview\r\ndata collection techniques, non- participant observation and\r\ndocumentation. The subjects of this study are SAR (Search And\r\nRescue) volunteers in Klaten Regency who are active and have\r\nhigh flying hours. The data validity technique in this study uses\r\ndata triangulation consisting of source triangulation, techniques\r\nand member checks. The results of this study show that the\r\nmeaningfulness of life among SAR (Search and Rescue)\r\nvolunteers in Klaten Regency is not only found in heroic actions,\r\nbut also in the process of meaningfulness of life among SAR\r\n(Search and Rescue) volunteers in Klaten Regency with the\r\nprinciples of Nrimo Ing Pandum, Kanthi Lila Legawa, Tulung-\r\nTinulung, and Srawung.
