In the crisis of the meaning of life in this modern era, however, there are conditions where an individual desires to be useful, valuable to the surrounding environment, this is in line with a SAR volunteer who voluntarily helps, spends his time, energy, ideas and skills to help others in disaster management efforts knowing that he will not receive a salary or wage for what he does. This study aims to find out the picture of the meaning of life of SAR (Search And Rescue) volunteers in Klaten Regency. In addition, this study is also expected to be able to have an impact on readers about the meaning of life and be useful for further research. This study uses a qualitative method of phenomenological study with interview data collection techniques, non- participant observation and documentation. The subjects of this study are SAR (Search And Rescue) volunteers in Klaten Regency who are active and have high flying hours. The data validity technique in this study uses data triangulation consisting of source triangulation, techniques and member checks. The results of this study show that the meaningfulness of life among SAR (Search and Rescue) volunteers in Klaten Regency is not only found in heroic actions, but also in the process of meaningfulness of life among SAR (Search and Rescue) volunteers in Klaten Regency with the principles of Nrimo Ing Pandum, Kanthi Lila Legawa, Tulung- Tinulung, and Srawung.
