This program aims to potition MAN Purbalingga as an educational institution equivalent in the eyes of society, as a general secondary school with Islamic characteristics and strong competitiveness. The purpose of this resreach is to find out: (1) The management of Jalur Khusus (Excellent) class ar MAN Purbalingga, (2) The programs implemented for students in the Jalur Khusus (Excellent) class at MAN Purbalingga, (3) The supporting and inhibiting factors tor the Jalur Khusus (Excellent) class program at MAN Purbalingga. This resreach is a field study using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The resreach used source triangulation and method triangulation to verivy data validity, and applied data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of the study show that the management of Jalur Khusus (Excellent) class at MAN Purbalingga covers several important aspects, namely: (1) Management program Jalur Khusus (Excellent) class including: Planning, Organizing, Financing, Directing, Implementation, Supervision, and Evaluation. (2) programs for students: Character and Religius Moral Guidance, Mathematichs Guidance, Olympiad Guidance, English Language Guidance, Al-Qur’an Education, Higher Education Orientation, intracurricular and Extracurricular activities. (3) supporting factors: Good partnership and communication between stakeholders, professional teching staff, student class placement based on strict test and selection, and the support of adequate facilities and infrastructure.
