%T PENGEMBANGAN BUKU SAKU KEANEKARAGAMAN TUMBUHAN DI LINGKUNGAN MAN 2 SLEMAN SEBAGAI MEDIA BELAJAR MANDIRI SISWA KELAS X SMA/MA
%X The research was motivated by biology learning on biodiversity topics in schools often remains theoretical and lacks contextual relevance, thus requiring engaging learning media closely related to students’ environment. This study aimed to develop a pocket book on plant diversity in the environment of MAN 2 Sleman as an independent learning medium for Grade X senior high school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, limited to the Development stage. The procedures included needs analysis, design, product development, expert validation, and limited trials. The inventory identified 25 plant species from 18 families and 22 genera, with the Araceae family dominating with 6 species. Validation results showed that material experts rated the product 80% (Good), media experts 89.25% (Very Good), while practicality tests by biology teachers 91% (Strongly Agree) and students reached 90.6% (Very Practical), respectively. Based on data analysis, the developed pocket book was declared feasible and practical as a contextual learning medium, supporting independent learning and helping students understand biodiversity concepts more effectively
