description: This research focused on developing a science student worksheet  (LKPD) titled “Saintetik” that integrates the local potential of Bobung masks to  enhance science literacy among junior high school (SMP/MTs) students. The  development process followed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design,  Development, Implementation). Initial analysis revealed that 76.5% of students  at SMP Negeri 2 Patuk found science difficult, and their science literacy was  low, with an average score of 59.5. Additionally, existing learning materials  were unengaging, and local potential was underutilized in science teaching.  The developed LKPD aims to facilitate students's understanding of  concepts, problem analysis, and application of scientific principles within reallife  contexts, specifically focusing on the topics of Work, Energy, and Simple  Machines. The Bobung mask craft was chosen as a local context due to its  proximity to the school and its relevance to scientific concepts. The LKPD  design emphasizes student-centered learning, critical thinking, and creativity,  aligning with the Merdeka Curriculum's principles.  Validation by material experts, media experts, and science teachers rated  the LKPD as 'very good,' with average scores of 3.33, 3.63, and 3.40  respectively. Student responses during limited and extensive trials were  consistently positive, with an overall average score of 0.94, indicating that  students found the LKPD acceptable and beneficial for learning. Observations  also confirmed that the LKPD effectively increased student engagement and  interest in science, particularly when connected to local culture. In conclusion,  the “Saintetik” LKPD is a valid, practical, and effective learning resource that  leverages local potential to improve science literacy and foster a deeper  appreciation for local culture among students.
