Taufiqurrohman, NIM.: 22204011050 Y1 - 2025/08/20/ N2 - The development of technology-based learning media research at this time is very rapid, it is marked by the number of articles on this aspect published in national or international journals. However, research that discusses the bibliometric analysis of the development of technology-based PAI (Islamic Religious Education) learning media research is still rare. This research is a literature study research. The purpose of this research is to find out the development of research, the most productive researchers, research trends and research topics that have not been carried out. The source of data in this study was obtained from the Scopus website. The data collection technique in this study uses the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. Data analysis using Vosviewer-assisted bibliometric analysis. The results of bibliometric analysis produced 3 forms of data, namely Network Visualization showing the relationship between research topics, Overlay Visualization showing the latest in a research and Density Visualization showing the number of research topics carried out. The data source in this study was obtained from the Scopus website, consisting of 223 journals out of 4408 that specifically discuss PAI (Islamic Religious Education). The results of the first study found that the number of publications on application-based PAI (Islamic Religious Education) learning media in high schools in the period of 2013-2023 has always increased every year. The most prolific researcher on technology-based PAI learning media was Supriyadi, Tedi 20 citations, followed by Suyadi 17 citations. The topics of "learning media", "teaching and learning", and "students" are the topics that are most often used simultaneously in PAI research articles or journals. The research topics that were least carried out were about learning media in the form of applications, artificial intelligence, Augmented Reality and virtual environments. Second, the researcher recommends that the research variables of PAI (Islamic Religious Education) be focused on analyzing the success of applications in shaping student characters, developing media that integrate the values of religious moderation, and long-term evaluation of the effectiveness of technology-based learning.
