Maragustam Siregar, M.A abstract: This study aims to analyze the concept of character education in the works of Syekh Nawawi al-Bantani, namely in the books Maraqil Ubudiyah and Nashoihul Ibad, explore the values of character education contained therein, and analyze and evaluate its relevance to the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile. This study employs a library research method, with primary data sources from the book Syarah Maraqil Ubudiyah ala Matni Bidayatul Hidayah, the book Nashoihul Ibad syarah ala al-Munabbihat ala Isti’dadi li Yaum al-Ma’ad, the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile, and supported by relevant related literature. The data analysis technique used is content analysis and interpretation of the data found to understand, examine, and analyze the thoughts of Syekh Nawawi al-Bantani and their relevance to the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile. The research findings conclude that: first, the concept of character education in the works of Syekh Nawawi is categorized into three categories, namely: 1) moral education toward Allah, which includes moral behavior in performing prayers, moral behavior in fasting, moral behavior in reciting zikir, moral behavior in praying, and moral behavior in repenting. 2) Moral education toward oneself, which includes commands to preserve the entire body, preserve the soul, preserve the heart, and preserve religion, as well as lessons on the importance of practicing humility and simplicity. 3) Moral education towards fellow human beings is divided into five parts, namely a) moral education as a scholar or teacher, b) moral education towards teachers, c) moral education towards parents, d) moral education towards friends and companions, and e) moral education towards all of humanity by showing kindness and compassion to others, spreading greetings, giving alms, and visiting the sick. Second, Sheikh Nawawi's concept of character education in his work is relevant to the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile based on dimensions, elements, sub-elements, Rahmatan Lil Alamin values, and sub-values.
