This study aims to: (1) analyze product design; (2) implement product feasibility; (3) analyze product effectiveness; and (4) analyze product practicality. This study uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects include subject matter experts, media experts, teachers, and fourth-grade students at MI Wahid Hasyim Yogyakarta. The research data consists of two types: qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data was obtained through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and validation forms filled out by experts, which were analyzed descriptively. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained from the results of questionnaires and test sheets filled out by students, analyzed descriptively, as well as from the results of testing the effectiveness of the product using normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired t-tests, and N-Gain with the assistance of SPSS 26 software. The results of the study indicate that the Indonesian language enrichment book using the joyful learning approach is capable of providing broader insights in efforts to improve students' reading literacy and self-efficacy. Based on expert validation results, the product received a rating of “valid with revisions,” making it suitable for implementation with some improvements. The product was implemented at MI Wahid Hasyim for fourth-grade students. Based on feedback from students and teachers, the enrichment book was deemed interesting, easy to use, and relevant to the characteristics of the students. Effectiveness testing showed a significant increase, with reading literacy improving by 54.68% and self-efficacy by 37.65% based on N-Gain calculations. Additionally, the practicality test aimed to obtain direct feedback from education practitioners regarding the quality, ease of use, and level of applicability of the enrichment book in learning. Teachers not only provided positive evaluations but also offered constructive criticism and suggestions for future product improvements. Overall, the results of this study indicate that the Indonesian language enrichment book using the joyful learning approach is effective, practical, and suitable for use as a medium to improve reading literacy and self-efficacy among fourth-grade MI/SD students. %Z Dr. Aninditya Sri Nugraheni, S.Pd., M.Pd.
